CINCINNATI — Michael Warren II's career-long 81-yard touchdown helped spur Cincinnati to a 37-21 win over Tulane on Saturday for the Bearcats' first 6-0 start since 2012.

Warren broke through the left side of the Tulane line and dove into the end zone for a 10-7 second-quarter lead, and Cincinnati (6-0, 2-0 American Athletic Conference) pulled away from there. Warren gained 123 yards on 18 carries for his third straight 100-plusyard rushing performanc­e and fourth of the season.

Warren's run — the thirdlonge­st run from scrimmage in school history — answered a 17-yard touchdown pass from Justin McMillan to Darnel Mooney for Tulane (2-4, 1-1), and Cincinnati led 24-14 at halftime after the teams traded touchdown runs.

The Bearcats put the game away with a nine-play, 87-yard touchdown drive culminatin­g in Tavion Thomas' 25-yard scoring run with 6:15 left.

OHIO 27, KENT STATE 26: TOLEDO 52, BOWLING GREEN 36: touchdowns, Bryant Koback ran for three scores, and Toledo (3-2, 1-0 MAC) blew the game open in the fourth quarter to beat Bowling Green (1-5, 0-2) for the ninth straight time. Leading 31-28 entering the fourth, Koback had touchdown runs of 7, 5 and 21 yards in a six-minute span.

MIAMI 41, AKRON 17: Kenny Young scored three touchdowns, and Brad Koenig intercepte­d two passes and recovered a fumble OHIO WESLEYAN 49, KENYON 7: Defensive end Kor'Darius Melton scored on two turnovers in an 85-second span in the first quarter to help host Ohio Wesleyan (2-3, 2-2 North Coast Athletic Conference) overwhelm Kenyon (0-5, 0-4). Melton returned a fumble 8 yards to put the Battling Bishops up 21-0, and on the next series returned an intercepti­on 27 yards for a score. Ohio Wesleyan forced six turnovers, and quarterbac­k Jax Harville connected with Deji Adebiyi on three touchdown passes.

DENISON 34, WABASH 10: JOHN CARROLL 44, CAPITAL 0: OHIO DOMINICAN 20, WALSH 10: Evan Ernst completed 17 of 22 passes for 247 yards, including an 87-yard scoring pass to Cory Contini, to lead visiting Ohio Dominican (5-1, 3-1 Great Midwest Athletic Conference) over Walsh (1-4, 1-2).
