SCHOOLS • Johnstown Monroe approved 2,544 to 1,825 a five-year, 6.9-mill renewal levy to raise an estimated $2.2 million for operations, costing homeowners $211 ($28 less). • Lakewood rejected 3,422 to 2,378 a 28-year, 5.1-mill additional bond issue to raise an estimated $2.3 million annually to construct a new elementary school, costing homeowners $178 (new). • Northridge approved 2,440 to 1,823 a five-year, 7-mill renewal levy for operations to raise an estimated $2.1 million annually, costing homeowners $217 ($3 less); rejected 2,171 to 2,080 a joint income tax and 30-year, 3.4-mill bond issue to raise an estimated $1 million for permanent improvemen­ts that would have cost homeowners $119 (new). • Granville approved 3,586 to 3,444 a five-year, 0.75 percent all-income tax for operations.

TOWNSHIPS • Darby approved 933 to 512 a five-year, 1-mill renewal levy for maintenanc­e of Forest Grove Cemetery to raise $91,500, costing homeowners $27 (same). • Darby approved 888 to 531 a five-year, 0.6-mill renewal levy for operations to raise $54,000, costing homeowners $15 (same). • Paint approved 171 to 63 a five-year, 0.4-mill levy for maintainin­g cemetery to raise $7,758, costing homeowners $6 (same). • Range approved 244 to 116 a five-year, 0.3-mill renewal levy with a 0.5-mill increase for operations to raise $42,000, costing homeowners $24 ($17 new). VILLAGE • Midway approved 68 to 12 a five-year, 3-mill renewal levy for operations to raise $10,000, costing homeowners about $78 (same). SCHOOL • Jefferson Local approved 1,685 to 909 a seven-year, 1 percent income tax for operations to raise about $1.6 million.

Xenikis (D): 9,000 TOWNSHIPS • Deercreek (excluding Williamspo­rt) approved 142 to 115 a five-year, 3-mill replacemen­t levy to raise $89,190 for streets, roads and bridges, costing homeowners $105 ($28 new). • Monroe approved 348 to 139 a five-year, 1-mill renewal levy to raise $60,865 for fire and emergency medical services, costing homeowners $27 (no change). • Monroe approved 362 to 121 a five-year, 1-mill renewal levy with a decrease to raise $60,865 for ambulance and/or emergency services, costing homeowners $35. • Perry (excluding New Holland) rejected 106 to 94 a five-year, 2.5-mill levy levy that replaces two others for streets, roads and bridges to raise $80,554, costing homeowners $87 ($26 new). VILLAGES • New Holland rejected 168 to 93 a five-year, 2.5-mill new levy to raise $27,385 to maintain and operate a community center and would have cost homeowners $87 (new). • New Holland rejected 145 to 113 a five-year, 0.7-mill renewal levy to raise $6,103 for streets and would have cost homeowners $22 (same as now). SCHOOL • Logan Elm approved 3,154 to 2,608 a 37-year, 6.79-mill new bond issue to raise $44 million for constructi­on and renovation, costing homeowners, $238 (new); an accompanyi­ng permanent, 0.5-mill property tax to raise $173,424 for acquisitio­n, constructi­on and renovation and permanent improvemen­ts of schools and facilities, costing homeowners $17 (new). COUNTYWIDE • Union County General Health District got approval 13,406 to 9,800 for a 10-year, 0.9-mill renewal levy to raise $1.2 million for operations, costing homeowners $5 (new). TOWNSHIPS • Claibourne approved 643 to 478 a five-year, 1.2-mill renewal levy for cemeteries to raise $79,000, costing homeowners $7 (new). • Liberty rejected 471 to 409 a five-year, 1.5-mill levy to raise $96,333 for expenses that would have cost homeowners $52 (new). • Union Township and Village of Milford Center approved 509 to 213 a five-year, 4.6-mill renewal levy for fire and EMS to raise $169,000, costing homeowners $171 (same). • Washington approved 183 to 125 a five-year, 1-mill renewal levy for operations to raise $8,883, costing homeowners $231 (same). SCHOOLS • Fairbanks Local School District approved 1,738 to 1,535 a five-year, 6.6-mill substitute levy to raise $1.7 million for operations, costing homeowners $231 (same). • Marysville Exempted Village School District approved 6,256 to 5,927 a 2- mill levy for permanent improvemen­ts to raise $1.55 million, costing homeowners $70 (new). • Marysville Exempted Village School District approved 7,972 to 4,232 a continuing, 6.56-mill renewal levy to raise $3 million for operations, costing homeowners $94 (same). OTHER • Marysville Public Library approved 8,311 to 3,872 a fiveyear, 1.5-mill replacemen­t levy for operations to raise $1.17 million, costing homeowners $52 ($6 new). • Northern Union County Joint Fire and EMS District approved 956 to 697 a five-year, 3.9-mill levy for operations to raise $448,000, costing homeowners an additional $136 (new).
