Honda research center adds 175 jobs
Honda R&D Americas’ Ohio Center in Raymond will be adding 175 new jobs.
Honda R&D Americas and JobsOhio announced Thursday a partnership supporting a growing, hightech workforce at Honda R&D Americas’ Ohio Center in Union County, located in between Honda of America Manufacturing and Honda East Liberty Auto Plant.
“As Honda takes on new challenges to meet the future needs of our customers, we continue to build a next-generation workforce by investing in our associates, our operations and our communities to promote the growing, high-tech presence here in Ohio,” Frank Paluch, president of Honda R&D Americas, said in a news release.
The research and development center currently employs 1,431 workers, according to JobsOhio.
Honda R&D Americas, Inc. has 12 facilities in the United States and is responsible for making advanced products and technologies for Honda and Acura vehicles. It is also working to advance its driver assistance and human interface systems.
JobsOhio will help the project with two grants and access to its recruiting services.
