Wright State, faculty reach tentative deal ending strike
FAIRBORN — A tentative contract agreement has been reached between Wright State University’s administration and its faculty union’s executive committee, ending a strike that began Jan. 22.
The tentative pact was reached Sunday. Striking faculty members returned to classrooms Monday.
Wright State’s chapter of the American Association of University Professors said in a news release that the tentative agreement will be presented to its members for a ratification vote.
The university said trustees approved the contract Monday night.
Students soon are to be able to pick back up courses they withdrew from because of the strike.
