WHERE I EAT

- — Megan Sharp weekender@ dispatch.com

Q: How often do you go out to eat?

A: Three to four times a week.

Q: What are your favorite neighborhood places?

A: The Crest (Gastropub, 2855 Indianola Ave.; also at 621 Parsons Ave.) and Northstar (Cafe, multiple central Ohio locations).

Q: What are your favorite special occasion restaurants?

A: The first one in Columbus turned out to be Basi (Italia, 811 Highland St.), that’s one of our go-to places since we moved here in 2002 . ... We’ve also just discovered The Table (21 E. 5th Ave.) because it’s just a couple doors away from our new church. … They’ve got a lot of eclectic food.

Q: If you had $10, where would you go?

A: Corner Stone Deli (and Cafe, 3296 N. High St.) is great because I always see people there I know, and they’ve got a big, big variety of things. ... A new cheap place

that I’ve tried is this new restaurant called A Common Table (3496 N. High St.). I went there for the first time today.

Q: What did you have?

A: I had the Swingin’ Vegan sandwich. It was pretty good. They’ve got some great sides, a lot of very creative sandwiches.

Q: And for breakfast?

A: I like Northstar and Tasi (Cafe, 680 N. Pearl St.). Tasi is a little getaway place, ... and I like to go there and drink coffee and read sometimes over breakfast.
