MICHIGAN KEEPS ROLLING WITH VICTORY OVER INDIANA

Michigan is rolling again, finding ways to win as it did during a surprising start.

Indiana, meanwhile, is playing so poorly its NCAA Tournament chances have taken a hit.

Franz Wagner had 16 points and was one of five to score in double digits for the Wolverines in an 89-65 win over the Hoosiers on Sunday.

The Wolverines (16-9, 7-7 Big Ten) have won three straight for the first time since opening the season with seven wins.

“Everything is clicking,” said Eli Brooks, who scored 13 points. “Everybody is confident.”

Michigan’s Zavier Simpson had 12 points and 11 assists, allowing the team to strike a balance offensivel­y.

Wolverines reserve Brandon Johns scored 14 and Isaiah Livers added 12 points, appearing to overcome an injury scare late in the game when he left the court briefly with an ankle injury.

The Hoosiers (16-9, 6-8) have lost five of their last six games.

CINCINNATI 70, EAST CAROLINA 67 (OT): Keith Williams scored six of his 17 points in overtime and

Cincinnati pulled out a win over East Carolina. Tre Scott scored 14 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Bearcats (17-8, 10-3 American Athletic Conference), who have won seven of eight, including an 82-57 win over ECU. Chris Vogt and Jarron Cumberland added 13 points each and Adams-woods had 10. It was the sixth OT game for Cincy this year, tying a school record. Gardner led the Pirates (10-16, 4-9) with 15 points. Miles added 12 and Newton 11.

NO. 21 IOWA 58, MINNESOTA 55: Luka Garza scored 24 points and Ryan Kreiner added 10 points and Iowa came back to beat the

Minnesota Gophers. Minnesota’s Daniel Oturu missed the front end of a one-and-one free-throw attempt with a chance to tie the game with 3.8 seconds left and the Hawkeyes (18-8, 9-6) came away with a rare road win in the Big Ten. Iowa trailed by eight points with 5:25 remaining but finished the game on an 11-0 run. The Gophers had five of their 13 turnovers during the final stretch.

NO. 4 SAN DIEGO STATE 72, BOISE STATE 55:

San Diego State keeps winning, as the Aztecs defeated Boise State. San Diego State (26-0, 15-0 Mountain West) wrapped up the conference regular season title.

Malachi Flynn scored 22 points and dished out six assists to lead San Diego State in scoring, joined by all four of the team’s starters in double digits. Yanni Wetzell added 14 points and seven rebounds.

WOMEN

NO. 9 LOUISVILLE 82, NOTRE DAME 49: Dana Evans scored 18 points to lead No. 9 Louisville to a victory over Notre Dame. The Cardinals (23-3, 12-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) made 7-of-9 shots during one stretch of the second quarter to build a 36-21 lead midway through the period. Louisville played unselfish, dishing out 13 assists on 17 baskets in the half.
