Helen Cline went to be with our Lord on January 9, 2021 surrounded by loved ones. Helen was born on July 23, 1929 to the late Charles and Bessie (Weaver) Chesher. A 1947 graduate of West High School in Columbus, Ohio, Helen married her elementary school sweetheart, Jack Cline. They were married for 64 years until Jacks death in 2012. Together they raised 8 children, Kathy Gothard, Jackie (Paul) Menz, Vicki (Brian) Miller, Kurt (Jewell) Cline, Cindy (Dave) Saving, Kris (John) Strawser, Connie (Ray) Mckee and Molly (Nick) Bukky; 25 grandchild­ren; and 30 great-grandchild­ren. She is also survived by her brother, John Chesher of Hamilton, Ohio. Helen was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Lancaster, Ohio. She most recently attended Smith Chapel in Logan, Ohio. Helen has taught numerous Sunday School classes and has been a youth leader. Her home was always open to children and adults, friends of her children, students of her husband, and friends from around the globe. She and Jack supported numerous missions throughout their life together. Over the years Helen was involved in her community as a Brownie Troop leader, a Hocking County Homemakers club member, an election poll worker, and various other community activities. Helen was a friend to the friendless and a mother to the motherless. She will be remembered as a woman who truly lived out her faith. In lieu of flowers, the family

is asking for donations in honor of Helen be made to Smith Chapel Food Pantry at www.smithchape­lfoodpantr­y.org. There will be a family only funeral on January 14, 2021. Arrangemen­ts are by Heinlein-brown Funeral Home, Logan, Ohio. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Nelsonvill­e, Ohio beside the love of her life, Jack.
