Suzanne “Nikki” Russell, 48, of Indianapol­is, Indiana and formerly of Delaware, Ohio, passed away of end stage liver disease at the home of her parents, Judi and Bill Russell, on January 7, 2021. The family was supported by Care Hospice of Indianapol­is and wishes to acknowledg­e with much gratitude their support during this time. Nikki attended St. Mary Elementary School where she was active in all sports. After school activities included gymnastics, taught by her favorite instructor, Chet Snouffer. She also modeled for John Cassavetes on weekends. Nikki graduated early from Waubonsie Valley High School in Naperville, Illinois, and went on to study cosmetolog­y and graduate from Pivot Point Academy. She continued to study and train in the Chicagolan­d area and became proficient and known as a

She came in second place at the Mid-america Beauty Show in the mid-90’s. Her career continued in Chicagolan­d for 13 years. She leaves to cherish her memory her only child, her daughter, Mia Nicole Anthony of Indianapol­is, who is also following in her mother’s footsteps in cosmetolog­y; Mia’s father, Michael Anthony of Bolingbroo­k, Illinois; her parents, Judi and Bill Russell of Indianapol­is; closest cousin and confidant, Amy Wood of Upper Sandusky; uncle, David Parker of Topeka, Kansas; cousin, Mark (Sarah) Parker of Holland, Michigan and their daughters, Maura and Suzy; cousin, Lynette (Chris) Palmer of Topeka, Kansas and their children, Jack, Nick and Bradley; and numerous other family members including all of those of the Dinovo family. There are also multiple friends from across the country that Nikki has met as she never met a stranger. Nikki was preceded in death by her brother Joseph, her maternal grandparen­ts Joseph and Harriet Dinovo, her aunts Carol Parker and Joann Reichardt and her second cousin Jillian Parker and numerous other cousins and second cousins. Due to the COVID19 pandemic, there will be a limited family gathering at the Snyder-rodman Funeral Center, 101 Valleyside Drive at W. William Street, Delaware with the liturgy being read by Deacon Philip Dinovo, cousin of Judi. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery.
