Dominican Sister of Peace, Sister Anne (Kenneth Marie) Rutledge died at Mohun Health Care Center, Columbus, OH on Thursday, January 14, 2021. She was born in 1934 in Pittsburgh, PA and in 1957 entered the congregati­on of St. Mary of the Springs, now the Dominican Sisters of Peace. Sr. Anne earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the College of St. Mary of the Springs (now Ohio Dominican University) and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Administra­tion from Duquesne University. She taught in schools in Pennsylvan­ia and Ohio. She worked in the Education Office, Diocese of Steubenvil­le and was Principal at St. Anthony’s in Steubenvil­le, as well as at St. Clare de Montefalco in Grosse Pointe Park, MI and Our Lady of Peace, Columbus, Ohio. She served as the Librarian at Seton Lasalle High School in Pittsburgh and for fifteen years she

worked in the Field Education and Placement Office

at the Pittsburgh Theologica­l Seminary. Upon returning to Columbus, she was Transporta­tion Coordinato­r for Mohun Health Care Center. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Mary Burke Rutledge, and her sisters Sister Mary Rutledge, OP and Margaret Joan Lachut, OP. She is survived by her brother, John (Jack); her sister, Virginia (Jean) O’shea; nieces and nephews. Funeral services and burial at St. Joseph Cemetery by EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME are private.
