Sharon Kaye Sulser passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2021 in her sleep. Her son Matt said it best “God needed another angel and welcomed my Mom into heaven last night. She passed peacefully in her sleep, the ultimate blessing. Please look for her sprit to visit you in the coming days. I loved her more than anything in this world. See you on the other side Mom and save me a seat.” When she attended

the first grade at Powell

School, she had several Sharon’s in her class, so the teacher used her middle name Kaye which was used from then on. She met her husband Alan as a freshman at Olentangy High School. In fact, she

asked him on their first

date to a Sadie Hawkins Dance. She loved to scrapbook and make her own Christmas cards. She also did needlepoin­t, knitting and sewing. Kaye was a retired teacher from the Buckeye Boys Ranch. She graduated from Olentangy High School class of 1964 and received her bachelor’s in education from The Ohio State University. She was an online member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, the red hats and the Tri Village Lions Branch

Club. Preceded her in death was her parents Dwight and Irene Mccormick, sister Sandra Corbin. Kaye is survived by her husband, Alan Sulser; sons, Matthew (Danielle) Sulser and Aaron (Sarah) Sulser; grandchild­ren, Camryn, Makenzie and Madison. Visitation for Kaye will take place on Friday, January 22 from 10Am-noon, with a funeral service following at Noon at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME in Worthingto­n. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware. Memorial contributi­ons can be made to the Tri Village Lions Branch Club, 511 Westport Dr., Groveport, OH 43125.
