A funeral Mass celebrating the life of Louise Irene
Antoniak, 92, of Columbus; will be held on Tuesday,
March 2, at 10am at Holy
Spirit Catholic Church, with at Forest Lawn Memorial
Gardens. Louise was the daughter of the late Louis and Angelina (Scartassa)
Busi. Louise was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to her family. Many fond memories were made seated around the dinner table. Everyone who knew her appreciated both her quiet sense of humor and expert hand at preparing delicious food. She was an active member with the Happy Spirits group and volunteered at Arbors
East Care Center. She is survived by her loving family; sons, William (Laura),
Ted, Mark (Kathy), Jim and
Tim; her daughters, Diane
Lower (Robert) and Cathy
Lembke; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband James Mac
Antoniak in 2015, brothers
Ben, Robert, Feno, Vince and John, sisters Mary and
Jeane. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the
Funeral Mass on Tuesday,
March 2. The Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic
Church, 4383 E. Broad

1933 - 2020
William “Bill” Rowe Leis, age 87, passed away Nov. 1 after a brief illness. Bill was born to Roy Dewitt Leis and Jessie Rowe Leis on
Oct. 9, 1933 in Columbus
Ohio. He graduated from
North High School in 1951.
He received a Bachelors of
Science in Business from
Miami University, Oxford,
Ohio. He retired from
Columbus Southern Power (AEP) after 37 years. He was married and has two children. He is survived by his children, Linda Leis,
Blake (Leslie) Leis; and grandchildren, Eric Hutmire,
Marissa Hutmire, Cole
Robert “Bob” Leis. Bill has always been a Methodist church member. Most recently at New Albany United
Methodist Church where he enjoyed his church family and friends and helped as an usher regularly during services, and earlier, during his school years, and while raising his family, attending
North Broadway United
Methodist Church. He was a member of North High
Alumnae Association, Old
North Hi Club Inc., and
Miami University Alumnae
Association, Red Brick Society.
Bill was a Mason (York
Lodge #0563 Worthington,
Aladdin Senior Shriners and Scottish Rite Maso,ns
Valley of Columbus, OH. He was a member of NRA, and
American Legion Gahanna,
OH. During his life Bill enjoyed golfing, playing cards, watching college football, and being with his family. Bill chose to be cremated with no service.
