James E. Moser, 82, of Grove City, died Sunday, June 13, 2021, at 7:10am at his home where he had been in the care of his loving wife, Judith Moser, since leaving Grove City Mt. Carmel Hospital on June 3. Mr. Moser was born on August 15, 1938, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to Edward and Helen (Keller) Moser. He was a 1956 graduate of Washington High School in Washington Court House and is a Navy Veteran. He was a member and past master of Grove City Lodge F&AM #689, 32 Degree Mason in the Valley of Columbus, AASR, Aladdin Shriners in Columbus where he was a member of Royal Order of Jesters Court #8, Past Masters Unit and the Washington Shrine Club where he was Past President. He was also a member of Grove City Sertoma and Grove City Jaycees. A retired employee of AEP, an avid bass fisherman and a meticulous woodcarver and a member of The Dayton Carvers Guild are just some of the descriptio­ns of Mr. Moser. Mr. Moser is survived by his wife of 16 years, Judith Moser; James is also survived by his daughter, Kristina (Moser) Sander; and grandson, Marine LCPL Tyler Sander; also Judith’s sons, Aaron Reid (Becky), Darrin Reid (Donna), and Daryl Reid (Melody); as well as grandchild­ren, Tristam Reid, Marcella Reid, Allison Reid, Matthew Reid, Anna Reid and Jason Reid; great grandson, Finley; as well as many close friends, including Lyle Goldsmith, Ed Kubic and Terry Phillips. He is preceded in death by his wife of 42 years,

Phyllis Moser, in 1999, his brother Larry Moser, and his parents Helen and Ed Moser. Friends may visit Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 4-7PM at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 2697 Columbus Street, Grove City, Ohio with a Masonic service held at 7PM followed with a ROJ Court #8 Jester’s service.
