Rita L. Baxter, age 90, of Ashville, OH, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her residence with her family by her side. To join her loving husband Charles of 68 years. She was born September 10, 1930 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Hans and Amelia (Fischer) Amann. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brothers Paul, Monsignor Robert, Thomas, and Richard Amann, and her mother-in-law Alice Dibella. Rita is survived by her children, Karen (Bill) Boyd, Rita (Pedro) Pineda, Chuck (Kristen) Baxter, Jim (Irena) Baxter,

Debbie (Mike) Palmer, Marilyn (Danny) Hammond, Melinda (Bob) Thompson, and Mike (Shannon) Baxter; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren. She graduated from Julienne High School in Dayton and went on to work for the Patton Wallcovering Company as an accountant for 21 years. She and Charles, along with his mother Alice, enjoyed traveling. Having visited 6 of 7 continents and all 50 states. One of her favorite places to visit was Greece. She loved spending time with her family. A visitation will be held for her on Monday,

August 23, 2021, from 11am-1pm with a funeral service beginning at 1pm at SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY, 3920 Broadway with Father Michael Watson officiating. Interment at Sunset Cemetery, 6959 W.
