Doris E. Mcclain, age 96, of Canal Winchester, passed away on August 15, 2021. She was born on

April 28, 1925 to the late

Harry and Beulah (Buchwalter) Hoffman in Columbus,

OH. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John “Jack” Weston Mcclain, brother Harry Hoffman, sisters Eleanor Wysong and June Whitcraft. She is survived by daughters,

Patricia (Robert) Hammel and Linda (Gary) Hammel; grandchild­ren, Scott (Sheila) Hammel, Cheri Rawles,

Michael (Laura) Hammel, grandchild­ren, Tiffany Hammel,

Taylor (Tyler) Freeman,

Hunter (Jackson) Chang,

Maxwell Rawles, Danielle

Rawles, Amanda (Kyle)

Wheeler, Tyler (Jillian) Hammel,

Justin Hammel, Jacinta

(Jordan) Rountree, Alexis

Hammel; and great great grandchild­ren, Jaxon Rountree

and Brighton Wheeler.

Doris dearly loved all her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmothe­r, great grandmothe­r and great great grandmothe­r and was a wonderful homemaker, seamstress and excellent cook.
