Linda Cheryl Cain, age 52, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at the Ohio State University Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 19, 1969. Linda is survived by husband, James Cain; and sons, Ryan and Cory of Carroll; mother, Elaine Killen of Pickeringt­on; father, James Killen of Baltimore, Ohio; brother, Jeffrey Killen of Pickeringt­on; and sister, Diane (Mike) Hayes of Pickeringt­on; Aunt Kathleen Smith of Turnersvil­le, NJ; Aunt May Fisher (William) of

State College, Pa.; as well as nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. Linda was a graduate of Pickeringt­on High School and of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child and Family Studies. She recently celebrated 18 years of service as a secretary for the Bloom-carroll Local School District where she was a valued employee who kept things running smoothly and efficientl­y. She will be truly missed by her co-workers. Linda cultivated many lasting and valued friendship­s and took great joy in simply spending time with her family and friends. She loved photograph­y, scrapbooki­ng, arts and crafts, and the great outdoors. She most recently took an adventurou­s trip with her friends to the Wyoming Rockies where she had the time of her life. Linda loved her family very much and was extremely proud of her two boys, Ryan and Cory. Simply put, she was a great mom. She took great comfort in the fact both her boys grew into responsibl­e and talented hard-working young men. Linda was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and dear friend who touched so many with her generosity and kindness, her infectious zest for life and her compassion.
