On Monday, August 23, 2021, Rose Mary Haenszel Krebs, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, received

her butterfly wings and

went to soar the skies with her husband of 68 years, Walter, who preceded her in death. She was 95 years old. Born in Grove City, Ohio, Rose Mary was

baptized, confirmed and

married at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Grove City, where she was a lifetime member. Rose Mary was a farmer, home maker, lunch lady at both Darbydale and Pleasant View schools and records clerk for St. John’s Church for many years. She was a member of Franklin

County Farm Bureau, Soil and Water Conservation and a 4-H advisor. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching, quilting, reading, making pies, traveling and attending the Franklin County Fair and Ohio State fairs. Rose Mary is predeceased by her parents Oscar and Helen Haenszel, and brothers Robert and John Haenszel. She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Helen (Gerald); son, James (Pamela); six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME located at 2697 Columbus St., Grove

City, Ohio on Friday, August 27, 2021, from 6-8pm. Friends are also invited to join the family starting at 10am Saturday, August 28 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3220 Columbus St., Grove City, Ohio, and participate in a funeral service that starts at 11am with Pastor Patricia Morlock officiating. Burial services will immediately follow the service at the St. John’s Section of Grove City Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church.
