Here are the masking or proof of vaccination policies:
PROMOWEST
• Venues: Express Live, Newport Music Hall, The Basement and A&R Music Hall
• Policy: Shows through Sept. 1 will require either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the show. From Oct. 1 on, guests will be required to be fully vaccinated. Masks are highly encouraged.
CAPA
• Venues: Includes Ohio, Palace, Southern and Lincoln theatres, the Riffe Center Theatre Complex and the Mccoy Center
• Policy: Patrons are encouraged to wear masks.
OTHER VENUES
• Nationwide Arena: The venue continues to follow local and CDC guidelines which strongly recommends masks, but they are not required.
• Value City Arena: Ohio State University is requiring masks in all indoor buildings regardless of vaccination status. This includes Value City Arena. “This continues to be a fluid situation and we will respond as necessary,” OSU communications director Gary O’brien said in an email. “The vaccination mandate is for students, staff and faculty by the October date (Oct. 15 for the first shot and Nov. 15 for the second) set by President (Kristina M.) Johnson. Regarding guests, as always, we will work with artists and promoters on any requirements they may have.”
