Pop music from Popgun

Kick off the weekend with a blast from the past: The Columbus band Popgun, known for its covers of songs by Queen, Led Zeppelin and other staples of the 1970s and ’80s, will give a free concert at the John F. Wolfe Columbus Commons, East Rich and South High streets, at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 26. Food and beverages will be sold starting at 6 p.m. Take blankets or chairs. Parking is available at the Columbus Commons Main Garage, 55 E. Rich St., and the Columbus Commons Underground Garage, 191 S. 3rd St. (columbuscommons.org)
