Who let the dogs out?

Grab a leash and your dog and head out to what’s billed as the country’s largest one-day dog festival. WAG! Fest will offer dog-themed activities, information and plenty of goodies from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 28 at the Darby Bend Lakes Area of Prairie Oaks Metro Park, 2755 Amity Road, Hilliard. Dogs can enjoy an off-leash swim at Water Bark Beach or a cool-down and some ice-crunching at the Atlas Butler Ice Castle. Or get away from the crowds on one of six pet-friendly trails at the park.
