Time for dogs to walk their humans

James Thurber and his dog, Muggs, will be celebrated in the 2021 Thurber Dog Trot 5K, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 27, at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave. Leashed dogs and their humans are invited to run or walk among the 170 years of Columbus history at the cemetery – and get a sneak peak of the new life-size bronze sculpture of Muggs at Thurber’s gravesite.
