Last call on classic films

Spend your weekend dangling from Mount Rushmore and dodging assassins in a cornfield: The CAPA Summer Movie Series will come to a close with Alfred Hitchcock’s “North by Northwest.” The classic suspense yarn, starring Cary Grant and Eva Marie Saint, will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28 and 2 p.m., Aug. 29 in the Ohio Theatre, 39 E. State St. Before the finale, check out “To Have and Have Not” at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 26; “The Defiant Ones” at 7:30 p.m., Aug. 27; and a program of children’s cartoons at 10 a.m., Aug. 28.
