James I Jordan passed away Monday,

August 30, 2021.

Born in Columbus, he grew up in the Chillicoth­e area. He was a veteran of the United States Army. A retired welder and electricia­n, he was a huge fan of the Cincinnati Reds and looked forward to watching them every year. In his free time he liked to tinker with his model train sets, and built models as well.

He was a loving father and devoted husband. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Linda Jordan, as well as parents Glenn

Jordan and Marjorie Williams.

He is survived by his sons, James Kelly Jordan and Joseph Daniel Jordan; daughter-in-law, Jocelyn; grandson, Kave; as well as numerous siblings, nieces, nephews, and other loved ones. Visitation will be

Tuesday, September 7 from 4-7pm and the funeral service on September 8 at 1pm, both at Heritage Free

Will Baptist Church, 575

Obetz Road in Columbus.
