1932 - 2021
Sansbury, age 88, passed away August 30, 2021. She was born on November 19, 1932, in Philadelphia, PA to Marvin and Anne Sue.
Peggy graduated from
Beaver College with a degree in physical education.
She was married to Sandy
Mcpherson from 1952 until his passing in 1963. They had three children together: Mark, Bret and Scott.
She married widower John
Sansbury in 1967 with his children Stephen, Hugh,
Susan, Ellen, and Cathleen.
Peggy’s faith in God was the basis for her resiliency in life as she was preceded in death by Sandy Mcpherson
and John Sansbury as well as three children: Bret
Mcpherson, Scott Mcpherson,
and Hugh Sansbury.
She is survived by her children, Mark Mcpherson (Lynda), Stephen Sansbury (Terry), Susan Macdowell (Keith), Ellen Oatney (Brad),
Cathleen Hargett (Jerry); daughter-in-law, Catherine
Sansbury; brother, Marvin
Sue (Martha) of Indiana; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Peggy built many friendships from the tennis courts in
Boca Raton to The Chelsea
at First Community
Village. She loved her ever expanding family and will be greatly missed. Visitation
will be from 4-7pm on
Tuesday, September 7 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST,
1740 Zollinger Road 43221. Mass of Christian
Burial will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday,
September 8 at St. Agatha
Church in Upper Arlington.
Interment St. Joseph Cemetery.
