Recap: Gwinnett jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the fourth inning and held on for a 5-2 victory. Travis Demeritte was 2-for-4 and scored twice for the Stripers. The Clippers managed just five hits, with no player getting more than one. Will Benson homered for Columbus. Clippers starter Cody Morris (1-1) allowed four unearned runs on seven hits in four innings. He struck out seven and walked none. Morris' ERA is 1.11 in 24 1/3 innings with the Clippers.
