Nancy Lee Peet, 68, of

Sunbury, Ohio, died unexpectedly when struck in a crosswalk near her home on June 1, 2021. Nancy was born on December 20, 1952 in Columbus,

Ohio. She graduated from

Sunbury Big Walnut High

School in 1970 and later attended Otterbein College to become a Registered

Nurse. Nancy would work at Riverside Hospital and then the Ohio Gastroenterology

Group her entire career, where she developed lifelong and treasured friendships with her fellow nurses and doctors, retiring in early 2019. Nancy is survived by her brother, Tom (Georgia) Peet; sister, Linda (Skip) Spayd; niece, Jenn (Bill) Anderson; nephews,

Charles and Alex Peet; and grand-nieces, Abby and Millie

Anderson. She is dearly missed by all of them. Nancy

was preceded in death by her parents Charles and

Mildred Peet and her muchloved daughter Dr. Jessica

Peet. Nancy was an avid exerciser, which helped her to cope with several life-threatening health conditions and the loss of her daughter Jessica to an accidental overdose. She was a long-time member of

St. Paul Lutheran Church in Westerville, Ohio, who’s congregation nourished her spiritual faith. There will be a memorial service at

St. Paul Lutheran Church,

Westerville, Ohio, at 10AM on September 18, 2021.
