Derwent, Joyce I.

Joyce I. Derwent, 88, of Mesa, AZ, peacefully passed during a most beautiful Arizona sunset, on September 3, 2021. Born June 16, 1933, to Margie (Harrison) and Kenneth Fairall. She is survived by sons, Dan (Bonnie), and Steve (Pam), Columbus, Brian (Lori), Arizona; and sister-in-law, Shirley Pavon, California; 11 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren, and many nieces/nephews. Pre-deceased by Herb Derwent, husband of 61 years and love of her life, stepfather Hyatt Fairall, brother Arthur (Linda) Fairall, sister Ruth (John) Slaughter, sister-in-law Jo (Jack) Walker and brotherin-law Bob Pavon. Family and friends are invited to pay tribute and celebrate her life well lived on Sunday, September 19, at 1:30pm, (luncheon following) at Franklin Church, 7171 Central College Rd., New Albany, OH 43054.
