Hilt, Bruce Alan

Bruce Alan Hilt, age 72, of Sunbury, passed away at his home after a long illness on Saturday, September 11, 2021 after watching The Ohio State Buckeye football game. Bruce was born in Columbus, Ohio on September 30, 1948. He was a kind-hearted person, who loved his family and friends. Through the years, he worked for the Ohio School for the Deaf, Norfolk and Western Railroad and retired from the City of Columbus - Jackson Pike Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bruce enjoyed watching the Ohio State football games and he loved to restore furniture and to discuss politics. Bruce was preceded in death by his parents Charles F. and Cathleen (Niemeyer) Hilt, daughter Valerie, and nephew Zachary Lamm. Bruce is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Micheline (Vollmer) Hilt; son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Nichole Hilt; granddaughter, Charlotte; sisters, Sandra Lamm and Kathy Hilt; nephew, Mark Pryor; other relatives, cousins and friends.
