Recap: Gwinnett scored six runs in the seventh inning to pull away from a 2-2 tie and defeat Columbus 8-2 on Sunday. In the seventh, Drew Waters and Johan Camargo had RBI singles and Travis Demeritte hit a three-run homer. Ryan Casteel also homered for the Stripers. Waters and Camargo each had three hits. The Clippers managed just three hits off four Gwinnett pitchers. Juan Mota (2-2) took the loss, allowing three runs after walking all three batters he faced.
