CBD, nails, Clarie’s new at Tanger Outlets

The Tanger Outlets in Sunbury has added several new tenants, including a CBD retailer.

The new tenants at the outlet mall, off Interstate 71 north of Columbus, include:

h High Street CBD recently opened a 2,160-square-foot store, the retailer’s second store following one in the Short North. The store sells oils, creams, edibles, apparel, bath products and other merchandis­e based on cannabidio­l, extracted from the cannabis plant.

h Direct Tools also recently opened in a 4,596-square-foot space selling new, used and refurbishe­d tools from brands including RYOBI, RIGID and Hoover.

h Simply Southern has opened a 3,500-square-foot store selling American clothing, accessorie­s and gifts in a “preppy” style.

h C&S Crafts has opened, selling home decor and seasonal handcrafte­d items.

h Luxury Nails has opened, offering nail art, dip powders, pedicures and other services.

h Ciao Café has opened, selling treats including gelato.

h Claire’s is preparing to open a 1,200-square-foot store this month, selling jewelry, cosmetics and fashion accessorie­s.

“Tanger Outlets Columbus is recognized for its lineup of top apparel and fashion brands,” said Audrey Vrancken, Tanger Outlets Columbus marketing director, in a news release.

“Keeping the assortment fresh for our our shoppers is a priority and we are thrilled to welcome our new retail partners.”

Tanger did not say who the new tenants replaced, or what the occupancy rate is at the center. Tanger’s website map shows seven of the smaller spaces empty among the 80plus spaces.
