Robert “Bob” Earlin Breeckner, beloved husband and father, died at the age of 84 on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 peacefully at his home after a long illness. He was born in Columbus, OH on March 21, 1937. He grew up as a member of St. Mary, German Village and attended school there and is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, Pickerington. He served in the Air National Guard for 8 years, worked as a milkman for Borden and retired from Whitman’s Chocolates/pet Inc. after 25 years of loyal service. He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Marie Breeckner, son-in-law Bill Grundey, brothers David Breeckner, Joe (Theresa) Breeckner, and sisters Louella (Louie) Glick, Henrietta (John) Koch, Mary Ann (Jim) Clark and Delores “Peachy” Breeckner. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Annette Gleich Breeckner; children, Don (Traci) Breeckner, Sue Grundey, Rob (Tracy) Breeckner, David (Stephanie) Breeckner; 10 grandchildren, Brian (Sarah) Breeckner, Keith Breeckner, Michael Breeckner, Nicholas Grundey, Greg (Kim) Grundey, Kayleigh (Jacob) Barker, Taylor (Brock) Ritter, Desiree (Anthony) Brown, Spencer Breeckner, Mackenzie Downard (Zac Miller); 21 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Susan (Chuck) Wilde, Suzanne

Gleich and Violette Breeckner; as well as many, many nieces, nephews and very close friends. Visitations for family and friends will be held from 2-5PM on Sun., 9/19/21 with a prayer/ eulogy service beginning at 4:30PM at MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 S. High St., Col., OH 43206. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, German Village, 684 S. Third St., Col., OH 43206 at 10AM Mon., 9/20/21 and interment will be held directly after at St. Joseph Cemetery, 6440 S. High St., Lockbourne, OH 43137. In lieu of flowers,
