It’s a mystery why taking vaccine is embroiled in partisan politics

I can’t understand why vaccination against COVID-19 is such a partisan issue.

I get why some might be reluctant to receive this vaccine, or any vaccine – there probably are good reasons for a small percentage of the population. But partisan politics? It doesn’t compute.

President Donald Trump and Republicans poured untold dollars into “Project Warp Speed” to develop the vaccine, and most Republican leaders, including Trump, have taken it.

President Joe Biden is trying every which way to get people to take it.

The more who are vaccinated, the closer the American people – as well as the people of the entire world – can inch toward getting our lives, economies and communities back to health. Everyone of both parties can claim participation in success when it comes.
