Recap: Mark Leiter Jr. struck out 11 batters over seven innings and Toledo defeated visiting Columbus 5-1. Leiter Jr. (7-3), who was 1-1 with a 6.14 ERA in four previous outings versus Columbus,

allowed four hits and one run with one walk. The Clippers’ Adam Scott (0-1), making his Triple-a debut, allowed all five runs on four hits and four walks through three innings. Four relievers combined to allow two hits over the final five innings. Isaac Paredes and Aderlin Rodriguez homered for Toledo. Alex Call extended his on-base streak to 15 games with an RBI double for the Clippers.
