Dewine seemingly can’t resist pull of Republican COVID policy

Ohio Gov. Mike Dewine said, “I don’t think he (President Joe Biden) should’ve done this. It clouds the issue, and we’re going to now be talking about a federal (OSHA vaccine) mandate, which no one likes, instead of talking about, ‘Look, here’s the science.’”

Until now, Dewine has largely avoided jumping on the bandwagon with fellow Republican governors bent on rejecting science-based safety protocol to fight COVID-19 and who, instead, have tried to commandeer the crisis for political gain by creating a flashpoint around personal freedom.

Apparently, the bandwagon’s beckoning is too much for Dewine to resist.
