Socialist’s reply: ‘Let them eat generic crackers’

When this Democratic Socialist bought crackers (which is what I call saltines) last week, I got the store brand for $1.29, plus I had a 40 cents off coupon. That’s 89 cents. And I actually like them better than the $4.29 name brand saltines, which – as a matter of fact – were $4.29 even when Trump was president. Shop smarter, not more politically.

To paraphrase Marie Antoinette: “Let them eat generic crackers.”
