Chili, beer and music on tap at Simon Kenton Chili Festival

Savor all the chili you would like at the 14th Annual Simon Kenton Chili Festival, starting with a parade at noon on Sept. 25 at Monument Square in downtown Urbana, located at the intersection of Routes 68, 36 and 29. Guests can sample the chili made by those competing for $2,000 in prizes, enter a cornhole tournament, enjoy a beer garden and listen to music, while the daring are invited to enter a jalapeno pepper-eating contest.
