Barrel rolling, brews and music in store at Pickerington Oktoberfest

The Pickerington Oktoberfest will launch at noon and runs through 10 p.m. Sept. 25 at the Combustion Brewing parking lot, 80 W. Church St., Pickerington. Admission is free, and children are welcome, but all minors must be accompanied by an adult. Live music will be provided by bands, including the Largemouth Brass Band and Reelin’ in the Years. Events include a stein-holding contest and barrel rolling. The truly adventurous can, for $45, enter a “Beer Mile,” where contestants drink a beer, run a quarter-mile, and repeat three times.
