CORRECTION

W. Wallace Stover was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross for his heroic actions in World War II in November 1943 while serving as a 1st lieutenant with the U.S. Army’s 129th Infantry Regiment, 37th Infantry Division. Because of a reporter’s error, his award was incorrect in a story that ran on the front page of The Dispatch Saturday.
