Maria del Carmen “Tita” Melo, age 71, passed away peacefully Sunday, September 26, 2021. Member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Groveport for over 60 years. She enjoyed painting, riding her bike, dancing, singing, playing instruments and video games, and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Carmen Eloisa Melo and Manolo Franquiz Melo. Survived by sisters, Celina Ericka (Mark) Sommer and Maria Pilar (Donald) Mayes; brother, Robert Albert (Penny) Melo; 4 nephews, 5 nieces, numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, October 1, 2021 from 6-8 pm at MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME 587 Main Street in Groveport. Funeral Mass will be Saturday 10:30 am at St. Mary Catholic Church 5684 Groveport Rd. in Groveport. Interment to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Share with the family at www.orwoodyard.com
