Ryan, Francis Daniel

It is with great sadness that the family of Francis Daniel Ryan “Dan” announce his passing on Friday, September 17, 2021. Dan was born December 11, 1949 in Omaha, Nebraska. He spent most of his life in Columbus, Ohio, but ultimately moved to Osprey, Florida (“Paradise”) in 2006. Dan was an entrepreneur in the truest sense. He was passionate about his lifetime work in the energy business. He enjoyed life and spending time with friends and family, whom he deeply loved. He will always be remembered for his vivacious personality; easily bringing people together entertaining them with his latest gadgets and tricks and making people genuinely laugh. Dan took every opportunity to spend time on the water whether he was on a boat with those he loved or scuba diving, reading by the pool or taking the scenic route to watch the sunset at the Jetty

with his soulmate, Teri. Dan’s infectious smile and hearty laugh are greatly missed and will not be forgotten. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 21 years, Teri; children, Bill (Connie) Ryan, Jennifer Ryan (Brian Scott), Megan (Eric) Johansson and Erin Ryan; grandchildren, Taylor, Justin, Cline and Leeland. Dan was predeceased by his mother Jane. A Celebration of Dan’s Life will be held at a later date.
