Martin, Cynthia J.

Cynthia J. Martin, affectionately known as “Cindy”, was born on April 29, 1956. She is the wife to David Martin. Cindy passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. Cindy attended post-secondary and graduate school at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. Cindy was a professional educator for 30 years and retired in 2013. Cindy married David Martin of Westerville in 1987. They were blessed with two daughters, Milli (Joel) Duff and Erin Martin. Cindy and David are the proud grandparents to Marcus, Colton, David, Maddie, Jayce and Baylin. Cindy had a strong faith and it brought her great strength and comfort. Cindy is predeceased by her father Melvin Slott and survived by her husband, two daughters and six grandchildren. She is also survived by her mother, Harriet Oser of Florida; sister, Nancy Slott of Vermont; brother, Jeffrey Slott of California as well as two nieces, beloved friends, and a host of colleagues. Visitation Tuesday, October 5, 2021, 10-11:30AM at Central College Presbyterian Church, 975 S. Sunbury Road, Westerville, Ohio 43081, where services will be held at 11:30AM.
