OSU win at Rutgers complete

And Stroud was in command from the start

Editor’s note: Following each Ohio State football game, beat reporters Joey Kaufman and Bill Rabinowitz discuss the lasting storylines and other key developments.

When Ohio State visited Rutgers last week, it was expected to face a bit of a test from Greg Schiano's revived program, which had gotten halfway to bowl eligibility after winning its first three games.

But it did not. The Buckeyes laid another beating, scoring more points (45) in the first half than they ever had in their eight all-time meetings against the Scarlet Knights. If not for some mercy extended by coach Ryan Day, they likely could have added more to the scoreboard in the second half before leaving Piscataway with a 52-13
