Aroma: Rather voluptuous full-bodied rose nose with apricot and strawberry
Flavor: Flinty, dry finish preceded by good “fruit” of the wild persuasion; excellent acid balance
Notes: A full-flavored success from the Western cape of South Africa, this combination of 59% pinot noir and 41% chardonnay has only 12% alcohol and should be served barely chilled. Think planked salmon, seafood risotto, paella.
