HOLIDAY CLOSINGS MONDAY

Monday is Columbus Day. Because of the federal holiday:

h Post offices will be closed and regular mail will not be delivered.

h Federal, state and some county offices, like boards of elections, will be closed.

h City of Columbus offices will be open as the city discontinued observing the holiday of its namesake in 2018, moving the day off to Veterans Day instead. Trash collection will occur as scheduled, and parking meters and services are in effect.

h Most Franklin County offices will be open since the county commissioners last year moved that holiday off to Juneteenth.

h Ohio State University and Columbus State Community College are open.

h Columbus Metropolitan Library branches are open.

h Central Ohio Transit Authority offices are open and bus service will operate on a normal schedule.
