Cathy Jane Johnston-dolby, 73, entered God’s kingdom from Tampa, Florida on September 30. Cathy was the daughter of William and Maxine Johnston of Mcdonald, Ohio, and the sister to Scott Johnston, all of whom preceded her in death. She was a loving, devoted mother to Eric, Aaron, and Ian Dolby (and wife, Kaley), all of Tampa; and grandmother to Ayden Brinson, Oaklyn Dolby, Lennox Dolby, and Hazel Dolby of Tampa. She will also be mourned by ex-husband, Paul Dolby. Cathy was a graduate of Mcdonald High School, class of 1966 where she was a member of the marching band. She attended Ohio University before completing her degree at the Ohio State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy. Cathy was employed by the Ohio State University Hospitals and Saint Luke’s Convalescent Center as a Physical Therapist where she quietly devoted her talent and energy for more than 35 years helping hundreds of patients get back on their feet. She was a member of Overbrook Presbyterian Church in Columbus for over forty years where she taught Sunday School. Upon moving from Columbus to Tampa she became a member of Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Overbrook Presbyterian Church, Columbus in her name. The family plans a celebration of Cathy’s life for late November at Overbrook Presbyterian.
