1952 - 2021

George. She is preceded in death by brother-in-law Bill Jackson, nephew Jerome Jackson, and sister-in-law Marianne Clark. Surviving family includes her loving husband of 47 years, Darryl M. Scranton; children, Dawn Machelle (Eric

Owens) Scranton; brother, Thomas (Sally) George; sisters, Shirley Jackson,

Lynda (Karl) Treat-clemons; brothers-in-law, Leroy Scranton, Kencil Scranton; as well as cats and granddogs. Bonnie worked at Ohio State University for over 20 years as a technical trainer. She served on the staff of the Secretary of State, Sherrod Brown.

Bonnie was passionate about her cats and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She

loved fishing, traveling, and

teaching others how to use technology. Bonnie was a mother to many and friend to more. A Celebration of Life, Visitation will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021 from 5-7pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH 43231. In
