Audrey Ann Helser Rathburn, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 11, 2021 due to complicati­ons of her dementia. Born April 2, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Norman J and Marcella L Reed Helser. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Dave Rathburn, her sisters Noami Vance, Martha Baker and brother Norman Helser. She is survived by her daughters, Sara (David) Rathburn-yourkvitch, Cathy (John) Dodson; grandchild­ren, Monica and Colin Dodson; sister-in-law, Ann (Bob) Kopp; brother-in-law, Ronald Baker; sister-inlaw, Carolyn Helser; and many generation­s of nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dog, Kane and her grand puppies, Molly and ‘Hot Mess Louie’. Audrey was a graduate of the Columbus South High School class of 1959, and was a retired medical assistant. She and Dave shared a love of music and often sang duets together on Sunday mornings at church. She was a member of the Columbus Swiss chorus Edelweiss Damenchor, a past president of the Columbus Damen Section and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Groveport Chapter #440. Audrey had a great love of the Buckeyes, Euchre and Harry Potter. Friends may call on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 11am-1pm at MAEDER-QUINT-TIBERI Funeral Home, 1068 South High St, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Friday. Interment to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Westervill­e, Ohio.
