Day of the Dead event to offer food, art and discussions

Costume up, parade with Mexican dancers and enjoy art exhibits and a day of live music at the Day of the Dead sponsored by Latino Arts for Humanity from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 16 at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave. The free family event, which includes face painting and other activities for kids, also offers a full slate of panel discussions for those interested in learning more about the traditions of the celebration.
