Elwood “Woody” William Lewis Wolfe, 80, of Gahanna, passed away November 20, 2021. Woody was born October 14, 1941 in Gahanna, OH to Richard and Alberta (Emig) Wolfe. He was a master woodworker and owned Woody’s Woodshop for over 60 years. Woody had a great passion for Native American heritage, he loved going to Pow Wow’s and making primitive American Indian items. He loved his family, spending time with them and laughing. Woods, hunting, fishing and had a strong passion for his puppies. Woody proudly served in the United States Army making the rank of Sergeant. Woody will be deeply missed by his children, Chris (Tina) Hutchinson, Montgomery (Robin) Wolfe, Lucinda (Kevin) Swinney, Stacee (Ed) Bailey, Darcee (Ronald) Porter, Cory (Jackie) Hutchinson, Chad (Heather) Wolfe; grandchild­ren, Erica, Heather, Debbie, Cassandra, Taryn, Marissa, Josh, Zac, Paige, Emily, Lydia, Kate, Aly, Kaylea, Noah, Grace, Violet; great-grandchild­ren, Austin, Brody, Colin, Ava, Addison, Conner,

Brooke, Brodie, Bladen, Henry, Renaldi, Alexander; sister, Carol (Tom) Corder, dear friend, Susie; along with many other family and friends. Woody was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Katherine (Carr), and brother Richard “Dickey”. Memorial service will be Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 11am at The Gahanna Sanctuary, 82 N.
