Sylvia D. Johnson, 80, of New Albany, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 22, 2021. She was born on October 30, 1941, to the late Glenn L. and Martha Bell Wheeler in Noble County, Ohio. She attended the Belle Valley Schools until she met who would become her husband of 61 years, Charles A. Johnson. Sylvia devoted her life to caring for her family. She made everyone feel welcome and was generous in sharing her wonderful baked goods with family and friends. She adored her pets throughout her life, particularly the Scottish Terriers that the family had through the years. Along with her love of animals, Sylvia was known for her love of Elvis Presley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Shelva Robinson. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Charles; children, Kimberly (Russell)

Leach, Tim (Jane) Johnson, and Penny (Scott) Mastenbrook; grandchildren, Justin, Brandon, Joshua, Leandra, Amanda, and Lacey; great-grandchildren, Caden and Cora; and her siblings, Charlene, Glen (Donna), Ernie (Becky), and Dorene (Terry). Visitation will be held Friday, November 26, 2021, at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST FUNERAL HOME, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna, from 5-7pm. A funeral service will follow on Saturday, November 27, at 11am also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers,
