Jerry E. Carrier, 82, of

Groveport, passed away

November 30, 2021 at Mt.

Carmel East Hospital. Jerry was born August 6, 1939, in Nitro, West Virginia. He was a charter member of Dayspring Community

Church, retired from Len

Immke Buick, an avid Ohio

State Buckeyes and NASCAR

fan, a devoted “Trekkie,” and a proud member of the Flattops Quartet.

Jerry also enjoyed music of all genres. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Mary “Kitten” Carrier, parents Dennis and Lou

Emma Carrier, brothers Roy and Michael Carrier, and brother-in-law Chris Mahan.

Jerry is survived by his children, Deni Carrier, Scott (Sherry) Carrier, and Robert

Perdew. Also surviving are his granddaughters, Amy and Lindsay Carrier; sistersin-law, Darlene Knowlton and Donna Mahan; brotherin-law, Earl Purcell; and many nieces, nephews, and his friends from Jilly’s

Saloon. Jerry’s family will receive friends from 4-7pm on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at Cotner Funeral

Ohio State fan the family requests to dress in Buckeye attire while attending his funeral service on Wednesday,

December 8, 2021 at 11am. Visitation will also be one hour prior to the 11am service on Wednesday

with Pastor Kevin Angel officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery,
